beach walks, wool dyeing and reading!!!

The beach was absolutely stunning on Sunday...we went for our regular beach walk and it was just amazingly gorgeous....

the water is so warm at the moment....

feet up!!!

But today was a 'head down with paint brush in hand' kind of day.....boy did I paint some wool. Now I just have to hope this stunning weather we have been experiencing for weeks now hangs around a little longer so I can get it all dry. My verandah is a mass of colour.

But really what I would LOVE to be doing is curling up on the lounge with my new book that just arrived in the mail. I will let you know what it is like...but I know I will love!!!! Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover!!!!

Do you judge a book by its cover?

Have a great week and I would love to hear from you.

  1. Oh Jo, I've read that book, I really enjoyed it, I've never written to an author before, but I did to Rachael to say how much I liked it, and she wrote back, how nice was that! She's an Aussie.

Fingers crossed the rain hold off for your wool drying, we had a few spots here earlier x

I heard there was rain on the way for all of us on the east side of the country....

    1. Oh Jacq...that is really cold. The mornings are chilly(Ish) but the days are absolutely beautiful. I don't swim (I know I am weird) but my feet love the water and it is quite warm.
Keep warm down there!!! xox Jo

  3. Hi Jo, I saw your brother and his team won themselves a silver at Chelsea....well done him/them! I'm surprised you weren't off over there to support him...now that would be fun.

  4. Oh Nanette, wouldn't that be wonderful....a little out of my price range at the moment. If I am going to spend all that money I think I need to be warm. I did go down to the Melbourne Garden Show a few months ago where he won gold.
He is so clever....it must have been very stressful I would imagine!
